This is a good book, however I think the Fitzpatrick dermatology book (I have 5th ed.) is organized better for a non dermatologist. If you use both and cross reference, this book has much more information. I have learned some new things from this book. It is worth looking into. It also has more pictures.

Let's face it - no derm book is awesome. You buy one, you get used to how it's laid out, and you stick with it. This one works fine. It's smaller than some books which is nice - but not so small you feel like it leaves things out. It's nicely organized.
I work as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care setting, and this is a great reference book for skin conditions. The book was recommended to me by a friend who has been a dermatologist for many years and says it is her go-to reference. The pictures are great, the text is straightforward and concise. Highly recommend.
