Snow White. You know the story. Father dead. Evil stepmother imprisons Snow. A huntsman rescues her. She goes to live with the seven dwarves, right? Not so much. Oh, Snow's father's dead. Her stepmother's now queen. And Snow's imprisoned. As she lies awake one night, death comes to her very door. In a desperate attempt to escape, she's captured by not one, but seven, of the burliest, most dominant men she's ever seen. Seriously? One tiny woman versus seven huge huntsmen? But she's gives it her best shot. All too soon, it's clear these men have no intention of killing her. What they want isn't her death. It's her! Terrified? Oh, yes! She comes up with plan after plan to escape, only to be thwarted as each fails. Worse? After each attempt, one of the huntsmen punishes her. Spanked? Strapped? Caned? Oh, those are only the beginning! Her stepmother was evil, but Snow's never experienced anything like this! She fights like a wildcat to no avail. There's no escape. This is her new reality. While she wants to live, how can she begin to accept this? Freyr, Odin, Dagr, Tore, Jerrik, Steen, and Magni are dominant in the most extreme sense of the word. Hardened warriors, they're used to taking exactly what they want, when they want, with no thought of consequences. But is this truly who they are? Snow seems to affect them in some strange way. They're no pushovers. Their natures aren't going to change. Kind and caring will never describe these men. But can these eight conceivably find any kind of common ground? Impossible! Then fate throws a wrench into an already hopeless situation. Deadly evil rears its ugly head, something even the huntsmen can't defeat. Are there miracles? Inconceivable. Death is imminent. Is there any escape? Just maybe. There's only one way. But it's so extreme. The question is who's willing to sacrifice what to defeat the ultimate evil?Zoe Blake and Alta Hensley have created an out-of-this-world fantasy that breaks all the rules! I truly loved this book. Is it dark? Yes! Is it hot and steamy? Absolutely! But these two authors have created a masterpiece that I adored. Zoe Blake has long been a favorite author. Alta Hensley is relatively new to me, although all her books that I've read have been wonderful. Combine these two and you have a uniquely impressive book. Despite the darkness, lack of hope, seemingly impossible situations, there are absolutely hilarious moments when I seriously laughed out loud. Snow's cooking? Let's just say, I'll pass! In the midst of the darkness and uncertainty, there are moments when the humor brings light and hope into the story. Snow is the epitome of innocence. She's also a seductress extraordinaire. Freyr, Odin, Dagr, Tore, Jerrik, Steen, and Magni are the complete of antithesis of Snow when they first meet. Each has his own unique personality, from brooding to mercurial to teasing to strict disciplinarian. Despite their differences, they're united in their desire for Snow. This shouldn't work on any level. Yet it does, magnificently! Zoe Blake and Alta Hensley shine. This is definitely one of the very best dark fantasies I've read. Congratulations Ms. Blake and Ms. Hensley!A final note. Be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language, dark themes, and dubious/nonconsensual sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and Amazon. Use these resources. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. It's not fair to the authors. They work hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to a book's subject matter before you buy it, you're doing yourself and the authors an extreme disservice. Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

One girl and seven, hot huntsmen? Definitely had some promise there, but at the end I was only slightly tingly instead of panting and wanting more. And isn't that what a good erotic nice should do to you?I took off the first star for general storytelling ability and continuity issues. Everything seemed rushed and haphazard, like a bad porno. The plot didn't need that much back story, being a well-known fairytale, but I just never felt very invested in any of the characters and everything moved along very fast and without much thought. You'll see what I mean when (or if) you get to the ending. Also some of the erotic scenes were creative, but after 7 huntsmen it started to became formulaic. Snow ALWAYS resisted, then ALWAYS gave in to that depraved inner voice, only to be shocked and resist again at the next encounter. The major continuity issue: one huntsman was described as having green eyes, then they were brown, then several pages later they were back to green again. Fire your proofreaders, ladies.I took off the second star for basic writing skills. Some people can look past such errors, but they are one of my big peeves and prevent me from really becoming absorbed in the story. There were numerous punctuation and even some basic part of speech errors (e.g. "...tore my clothing off so fast and furious..." should have been "fast and furiously" ...hello? Have we forgotten what adverbs are?!) peppered throughout the entire book. Again, fire your proofreaders! For a couple of bucks it's an entertaining enough read, just not sure how these books are on bestseller lists with all the errors.

This is one of these stories that you don’t know whether to be shocked or impressed by the depravity of the entire storyline. This is what you get when you get two talented authors, Alta Hensley and Zoe Blake that both can write dark erotic horror fantasy, and together their creative minds devise a demented dark, edgy spin on the tale of Snow White. Forget any dwarves, because no, instead, it is seven large, muscular, huntsmen instead.“Once upon a time, I was a princess named Snow White—now, I am the captive prize of seven huntsmen.”The Huntsman has been hired by the evil queen to kidnap and murder Snow, bringing her heart back to the queen. They will deliver the heart of a boar and take Snow to their cabin deep in the forest. While Snow may be alive, she will find herself in a new prison, because the beast has taken her to their lair. Each of the seven huntsmen will have their own time with Snow, and she will be at their mercy and proclivities. While certain ones have claimed a particular virginity, her time with each man will not be an easy experience. In order of claiming, Tore, Magni, twins, Feyer and Steen, Dagr, Jerrick, and Odin.“Listen to me well, broken bird. Never disobey any of the huntsmen, or you will get far worse than what I am doing here. You are to be submissive, obedient, and compliant in all the ways we ask. Some of my fellow huntsmen are not forgiving or tolerant men.” --Tore“The reality was, I had been taken from one prison to another. I should have never for one second forgotten that the huntsmen are my captors and my life was fully in their hands. I was a prisoner, not a guest. I was here by force, not by choice. If I kept my eyes closed, it would make this all seem like a dream rather than reality. Reality made it all the more dirty and wrong, but a dream was safe.” --Snow“No is not an option.” --Magni“Never question. Never disobey. Never for one second act out like you did before.” –Feyer“The devil had truly possessed my body, but no holy water would be able to purge me clean.” --SnowWord has it that the queen knows Snow isn’t dead and she is coming for her, and the huntsmen too. She may have locked up Snow in the castle and convinced everyone that she had gone mad after the death of her father, but the huntsmen know the truth. How far will they go to protect the women who can tame their savage beast? Don’t come between the huntsmen and their captive prey. The story is one of the reverse harem books that includes kidnap and capture, dubious consent, forced submission, exhibition, humiliation, sadomasochism, dark fantasy, that is raw and edgy. What this isn’t, is a sweet romance; it is filthy dominance, control, and powerful. In April, comes Red and the Wolves.
